Welcome to the Randall Apollo page for Otter Sound Studio.

The isolation booth has thick sound board material on the walls, ceiling & door. The walls & door also have sound blankets & drapes attached to them. The desk top has rubber padding to stop sound from bouncing back into the mic.

The DAW of choice is Apple’s Logic Pro on a MacBook Pro laptop along with an iPad Pro as a controller in the booth. A motu 828X Thunderbolt is the digital interface and JBL LSR308 Pro sound monitors.

The main microphone utilized is the AKG C214. On hand is a Beyerdynamic M88 TG.

The Apollo missions shot for the stars, so too am I. My own mission statement is NASA: Navigate A Sonic Arc to help rocket your projects & land them safely.

The ‘sonic arc’ being my vocal abilities in voice overs, acting & singing.
